It’s been a while. Glad to report that whilst I am pulling together other pieces of the 0110 jigsaw, writing drafts of the series bible and stuff like that, the lovely Scribes are mostly all working their way through first drafts, which is great news. Those who are not working through their drafts have good reason - they have already completed them. Jolly heavens.

Although I blogged about it here, I just have to reiterate that our Development day really was something else. A truly excellent day where everyone was not just on the same page, but the same paragraph and full stop. We heard 36 pitches that day - that is one hell of a lot of story, I tell you. Then out of those absolutely brilliant pitches we whittled them down to a shortlist of 12, eventually debating the pros and cons of length, story content, episode and series flow before eventually all settling on the final six stories for the Pilot episode.

Throughout the day, we also managed to create a huge amount of recurrent themes, little story threads and symbolic hints that will weave through the entire series.  These elements are integral to the ‘life’ of 0110, as they not only add a multilayered embroidery of deceit and surprise to the Series in general, but will also provide little ‘thank yous’ along the way to an observant and loyal audience.
