Mused about the pilot's theme today. Couldn't drag thoughts away from loss and grieving. There's something of the morgue about places filled with marble.
The papers are full of the recession-busting Westfield shopping centre. One year and going strong, so a visit is made. 8am and the place is empty, except for echoes of distant pop songs. Westfield is huge and desolate. I long to be in a 1970s slasher zombie movie, if only for the company.
I am not at Brent Cross Shopping Centre. I am not 8. I am not lost.
