
On graduation, Dan co-founded a small production company making short films and test commercials, but unfortunately it folded when the company lost its key talent to the visa system. Los Angeles' gain was our loss.
He fell into TV, via Talkback Thames' “Family Affairs”, at its time the UK's only 5-day per week soap, followed by a move into the BBC raising co-production and distribution finance for Specialist Factual and Drama content.
Dan then moved sideways into the BBC Worldwide joint-venture, 2entertain, as Commissioning Editor for the Classic TV and “Doctor Who” DVD ranges.
Dan was snatched away from the comforts of public broadcasting into the indie world, heading development for Dangerous Films for three years. He is currently writing two episodes of a landmark series for Jane Root's Nutopia, plus developing various projects for Wide-Eyed Entertainment.
